Supermarket store collections 2008 dates

One of the main ways that the South Bucks Branch raise funds and awareness of the disease is via store collections. Many of the local supermarkets kindly allow us to collect outside their stores. Please come along and support us. Branch Committee members are usually on hand if you have any queries about the disease or work of the Branch. If you can spare some time to help with any of the collections your help would be appreciated: please contact the Branch Secretary, Vicki Walduck, on 01494 728719.

Calling all big band jazz fans!

On Thursday 27 November, the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Big Band have once again chosen this Branch of the Association as their charity for the evening’s performance, and we are very grateful to them. They have provided excellent evenings of music for us over the last few years, so please join us if you can. Their first ‘blow’ was back in 1986, since when they have raised some £200,000 for a variety of charities – if you would like more information about them, their web site address is www.bbobigband.co.uk. They will be playing at the Royal British Legion Hall, Station Approach, Marlow, starting at 8:15pm, with doors opening at 7:45pm. Entrance on the door is £6 each and there will be a raffle with excellent prizes, so come along and join us for an enjoyable evening.
