We hold fundraising events and collections at a variety of locations over the course of a year. This list is regularly updated so please visit regularly to find out about our latest events.
 

 

Supermarket store and other collections - 2010 dates

One of the main ways that the South Bucks Branch raise funds and awareness of the disease is via store collections. Many of the local supermarkets kindly allow us to collect outside their stores. Please come along and support us. Branch Committee members are usually on hand if you have any queries about the disease or work of the Branch. If you can spare some time to help with any of the collections your help would be appreciated: please contact the Branch Secretary, Vicki Walduck, on 01494 728719.

In addition to supermarket collections, this year we have secured agreement from Chiltern Railways to run collections outside local stations - High Wycombe, Great Missenden, Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross. Our next collection will be at High Wycombe Station on Friday 9 July, and if you are able to spend an hour or so there or at any of these locations to help, we would be pleased to hear from you. Further dates will be posted here as soon as they are arranged.

Our next supermarket collections are at Maidenhead - Waitrose - on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 July, and then Amersham - Tesco - on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 August.

Events - 2010

On Sunday 11 July we will be doing our annual 'Walk to D'Feet MND'. This will be on our usual route - round the Pednor Loop - starting and finishing (for well-deserved refreshments!) at The Queen's Head, Church Street, Chesham - we will start at 11am. The route is a largely level 5 and a bit miles on road, and is suitable for all ages, and for wheelchairs, prams and buggies.
